Greetings from idyllic Switzerland! I’m Sal who founded Swiss Private Tour, impulsed by my mission and goal to provide you with the innermost and profound holiday experiences in Switzerland, not found in travel-guides or with any standard tours.

Initially coming from America, a Swiss girl stole my heart and I relocated to Zurich, thirty years ago. A world traveler and professional photographer in my spare time, I enjoyed a successful career in banking here in Zurich, all the while enjoying playing host to friends and family, who would come to Switzerland on vacation. It was incredibly fulfilling to share with them all the beauty that my adopted country had to offer, leaving them in awe.

Feeling the stress of my business environment, I woke up one morning and decided I needed a change for the benefit of my well-being. It was my darling daughter who gave me the idea to do something I loved and was passionate about, for a living: sharing my enchantingly beautiful country with visitors, just as I enjoyed doing so with family and friends.


Years later, I’m still living my dream and cherish every moment, each day. I meet people from all over the world, and am honored to take part in creating incredible travel memories for my guests, whom by the time we part ways, are more like friends.
